From a nervous patient having a simple filling, through to full and dual arch implants and sinus grafting — delivered safely in your surgery, by a dedicated consultant anaesthetist.
The same dedicated, consultant-led model — whether it's a single anxious patient or a multi-hour implant case.
In the operator-sedationist model, the treating dentist also administers and monitors the sedation — recognised in national sedation guidance as suitable only for brief, simple procedures in fit and healthy patients. Safe Sedation works differently: a separate, airway-trained consultant anaesthetist manages sedation throughout, so your dentist can focus solely on the dentistry.
That separation of roles is what lets us support the full range of cases safely — from a nervous patient having a straightforward filling, through to multi-hour implant surgery. It also broadens the range of patients who can be considered for sedation, including those with more complex medical histories, and means every patient benefits from a consultant-led pre-operative assessment before treatment.
Every case is led by one of our GMC-registered consultant anaesthetists, each with expertise in advanced sedation techniques.
